## What the app does

- Helps students and parents simulate gaokao volunteer choices.
- Accepts province, subject category, score, or rank.
- Generates reach / match / safety college and major candidates.
- Uses deterministic rank-based matching as the recommendation core.
- AI features, if enabled later, should explain deterministic results instead of inventing colleges, majors, scores, or admission probabilities.

## Current data status

- Shandong: live official-source sample path.
- Many national provinces: partial aggregated-data reference version.
- Planned or blocked provinces should not be treated as open recommendation coverage.
- The nationwide aggregated reference version is suitable for early screening, not for final official submission decisions.

## Important limitations

- Results are planning references only.
- Results are not admission guarantees.
- Uncalibrated percentage admission probabilities are intentionally not shown.
- Final decisions should follow each provincial education examination authority and university admissions office.
